A good example of retaining initiative

1. e4 c5 2. Nf3 a6 3. d4 cxd4 4. Nxd4 e6 5. Nc3 Qc7 6. Be2 Nf6 7. O-O Bb4 8. Qd3 Nc6 9. Nxc6 dxc6 10. Bf3 O-O 11. Bd2 Rd8 12. Qe2 e5 13. h3 b5 14. Nxb5 cxb5 15. Bxb4 Be6 16. a3 Bc4 17. Qe1 Qc6 18. Qc3 Rac8 19. Rfd1 a5 20. Rxd8+ Rxd8 21. Bxa5 Rd4 22. b3 Nxe4 23. Bxe4 Rxe4 24. bxc4 bxc4 25. Rd1 g6 26. Rd8+ Kg7 27. Qb4 Re2 28. Qf8+ {Black resigns} 1-0

15 --> ..Be6. I didn't expect the following move ..Bc4 that. Fortunately I escaped.
17 --> ..Qc6 .. it was a mistake. He left the queen hanging.
19 --> ..a5. I could have done Bxa5 first. But that would have made me loose the initiative and let Bishop c4 escape.
